Mags, you really need to learn how to keep the blood inside your body. )8

[EDIT: I decided to do a little "filler" incentive, have some alternate design monster-Razmarus Vote Link!]

Anyway, the SJ'11 Awards Nominations are open! Remember to READ THE RULES! READ THEM GOOD!

There are only (as of posting this) two months and 11 days are left to suggest comics, make sure your favorites get their fair share!
And remember to read the rules before making any nominations!
But even more importantly, find (more) good comics to read!

(Also I'd like to take the time to thank Eishiya for the pimping! [Be sure to read her comic too! Black Dram!]

**Heeeeee over 1000 fans- I am not worrrthy!

Yes but as what 8V

I think its interesting you think that! Any reason why?

Old men are always suspicious~ And glad you think so. XP

Thank you very much! And I will keep on chugging along~

It is fairly bizarre! They only have so much in "common". And Raz having manners, hah indeed!

Omg the red lady reappears! So is her relation with Mags and not Raz?

I love the overlaying of the dialogue from the previous scene with this scene.

I am finding Sid's form here rather cute for some reason. Must be those fingers.

Ahhh so much confusion in this page!

1)Fading these two scenes together makes me think there must be some common factor... and the only thing in common with the last time this happened is Mags being semi-conscious (sleeping and woken by Raz last time, I believe).

2)Okay, so Raz's freaky red stalker figure isn't just watching him? Seems to even be talking to Mags too... maybe they're both catching it.

3) I know the figure is separate from Raz's word-beast, and now that I think about it, I don't ever remember seeing the figure actually speak to Raz... weird that it would talk to Mags, much less drag him awake. hmm. Could be wrong, though.

4)Did Mags just try to speak??

Haha this page has really got me going. Love it!

Edit: Ahhh, looking back, the first time the red figure also played the role of waking someone (Mags?) up out of it!!

Except it was physically in the other world/flashback/whatever it is this time instead.

Now I really want to know what's going on!

Edit2: Also! Forgot I wanted to say that I think we got Mags vibes from the other guy because he seemed sort of like I'd think a less-tired and vocal Mags would act. Butttt now just comparing their faces, Mags' features are way sharper, so I'm back to having no clue who half-dead guy is. *siigghhh*

Mags is probably the kid, or something.

So, good ol' Red's a good guy? In regards to Mags, at least..?
If that /is/ the red thing waking him up, that is.

I like Raz's alternate monster design. It's more human looking than his current one, but his current one's cooler. All waspy and such. 8)

And I think I'm gonna nominate this comic, if it's eligible. 8U
You should have passed 1000 fans a long time ago~

I agree with Eishiya, Sid's form looks cute on this page, his legs kind of remind me of a dog's.

Hmm. I'm not really loving the diagonal black boxes at the top there showing the previous dialogue. They're stagnating the eye for me instead of leading it. I think you have to be really careful with that sort of design... But this is a real nice comic. :> Found it on the forums.

Oh, sure thing. I feel like the placement of text with those distracting diagonal boxes draws the eye away from the art itself. For example, in panel 3, the black is cutting into his head because of how the space is activated. With the gesture, it looks like the chunk of black is literally knocking him upside the head! @_@

Does that make more sense? 2 and 3 are the panels I have most issue with.

When you put in diagonals like that, you activate movement, which wars with the strong gestures you have going with the art itself. Let the art do the moving in this case and let the text and textboxes play a lesser role in the visual hierachy. (Smaller neater, straighter, or is you want to get the "thought" feeling, maybe something round and indistinct.)

Or at least that's this one reader's opinion. ^_^
