Raz, I think you may need help. Lateish update.

That knife might look a little familiar.

The NEW INCENTIVE is the last of the incentive "series" of 'IN A VASTLY DIFFERENT TYPE OF COMIC.' A hint on what series it is from is in the unchanged outfit.

EDIT: Oh god, I set the incentive date wrong, so sorry! It's fixed now!

EDIT2: DAMMIT, I put the wrong link for the "should look familiar."

EDIT3: Fixed the knife to clarify intent. 8V

@mythee
Mags is both pokemon and trainer! And I think it's more like "intercepted by VIOLENCE!"

@azerken 1 + 2
Yes.

Mags' eye is not Chiranoble in property, they share the black coloring but that's it.

"Upgrading" from pirate (to blind) way earlier (chapter 1) to Mags? Or do you mean something else? Sid did not claw out Mags' eye either way.

Raz hasn't made any notable observations about it if you're curious.

@kanilla maxwell
He's stood up to him passively, but yes this is the first assertive instance. And all in due time 8) And ahaha, I really just want everyone to have unique face shapes, the masculinity is probably a side effect.

@eishiya
What kink can't he cover 8O

@aya_yai
Tsk tsk!

@SRQ
This is the last of the intentionally horrifying ones.

@sinkdownslowly
Mags had to turn this webcomic right around to plotland.

@stephi
Naw, 'tis anime moe Sid. Raz is stronger, save for this instance, all other times of disadvantage have a certain trait in common.

@cala
lol, I think you're one of the few rooting for his karmatic kicking XD

@xkrazydog
Tentacles can join too. <3

@leusekuchen
You're over thinking some of it, but other parts of it are correct. 8)

@marimobuns
Is the mad settled in now? 8D

@icefiend
Hahah. Also adding "Razzums" to the nickname list XD

@daughter of leo
I think Raz was disappointed about that too!

@janylin
I'm not sure I'm understanding? Would you mind clarifying 8O?

Welp, I was wondering if Raz had something to do with Mags' current eye state if he said "upgrading". But probably not, the way ya put it?

Awesome comic as usual, by the way.

Damn. I've gained new respect for Mags. I think this is the most badass page in the comic!

Oh Mag, oh Mag what chu DOIN'? :S This is greatly concerning. Raz might be the worst protagonist ever, but I still wanna do nasty things to his face.

Pffffffft - dat incentive. XD

*horrified soundless scream at the incentive*

*and then terror seeps away slowly to give way to realization that now I want to adopt him*

Anyways DRAMATIC PAGE YES. Also I can't help but feel that the only reason Raz has difficulty getting even remotely close to perceiving Mags intentions is because his mind is in the gutter all the time like this

This is totally not the kind of stabbing that Raz had in mind.

Gosh that incentive... but he is- but that- -lipquiver- noo T_T manly wizard come back!

XD

I really hope he is HANDING that to Raz and not planning to stab him with it D:
Because, as much of a... heck, I dun even have an acceptable adjetive for him. Well, anyway; as much of a bad bad bad boy that he is, Raz's still my fav character! D:

@SRQ *ba dum tss* Touché at the wordplay.

Yeah, I like karma in stories. Raz is kind of getting it hard right now, but Mags hasn't had his turn yet, haha.

W-w-was that a *genuine* Raz-smile in that 3rd panel? I barely see any nastiness or sarcasm at all! Not that it lasted, but yeah. XD

I actually interpret this as Mags needing to test something to learn more about the knife, and Raz just sort of being unlucky right now. Not that I think he'd try it on Sid, too, but Mags is so emotionless and a bit clinical about it all. Kind of makes me think he's not as much of a nice guy as he's been acting at times. Hmm...

Perhaps Raz is reconsidering not being treated like glass isn't so cool after all...

Broken glass hurts though. Stupid sliver. I knew I shouldn't have picked up that cup without gloves...

I am overthinking EVERYTHING, by now it is quite disconcertening how many people tell me... Hehe ;) Of course now I am really curious which of the things I have said are right!
Not that I haven't been curious how things evolve anyway. Otherwise this wouldn't be amongst the comics I follow most reverently (six in total, but amongst those one of my three favourites), although I haven't said hello before... I have only found deSTRESS a month or so ago... but I LOVE it! especially all the plot. And while we are it, leaving out long-strech references is not an option! You should leave them in, simply because it will make for a better story when printed. (It makes the story more lively and realistic, at least in my opinion.) Putting in a link is a better idea.
