It doesn't have to be kickstarter- I'm looking into the two you suggested. I've heard some less than pleasant things from Lulu though, so I'm wary about that one.

I'd buy it! :D

I'd ABSOLUTELY love to have Destress on my shelf. I've followed this comic for a long, long time, and it deserves to see the light of day as a hard, physical copy! I honestly wouldn't mind the old art, it's just fascinating to see the progress in my opinion. But if that bothers you, an option could be to redraw chapter two and three, and leave the others be, I suppose?
Either way, I'd buy it without doubt :)

EEEEEEEE I'M INTERESTED~~!!
Is it necessary to do this via kickstarter? Why not use something like createspace or comixpress :) I think lulu is cheaper for larger books too.
I think your main problem would be cost - colour is significantly more expensive than b/w, and destress is mostly b/w, but you'd still need to sell at colour prices! Is it worth it for the colour accents?
Anyway I'm not really the right person to give advice, so I'll just be here, hoping :D

Dude, I would so buy it as-is. You don't need to redraw anything. I'd put it right beside Paradox and MYth, and I would show it to EVERYBODY who came to my house.
I also know a buddy who did their publishing on createspace. It's free to do it that way, and the royalties are apparently not that bad, or so I hear. It'll automatically make it available on Amazon too.
I'd buy one. And as for the art, I don't really mind it. Your story line keeps me interested. Art is just a nice bonus.

Alternatively you could always take preorders, print them at a place near yourself, and sell that way. Then you could add little things in with the books, like sketches or a signed copy. A personal touch :)
I only suggested lulu because it's a POD with reasonable shipping costs to NZ (where I am xD)

Navigating Lulu seems a bit off at this time- but the pricing for Ka-Blam color publishing doesn't look too bad! (And I can keep the price about $5!)
If you're worried about shipping, I can try arranging it so I just order the book for my home address and then just pass it along to you, it'll just take a little longer to get to you!

Oh jeez--YES! I actually really like that $5/issue idea. IMO, it's quite a bargain!
Also, no need at all to "update" the older pages, but I will second Kanilla Maxwell's latter suggestion.

Okay, I may only have caught up with the current pages of Destress recently but I give a very big YES to purchasing issues if I can (this coming from someone who rarely ever buys books or anything of the sort).
As far as the art goes I also don't think there is any need to redraw or update, but if it bugs you than I say go for it. I'm sure I'm not the only one who can relate to old art driving you bonkers.
Though I am useless as far as advice for publishing but support I most certainly can do~ :3 I know a couple or more people who would be interested, if I have not told them already.

I've never bought a webcomic before, seeing as I'm rather facetious regarding what I am interested in... but I feel like I may buy this one.

AMAGAH DESTRESS BOOKS YEY! I would also love to have Destress in book format, but I like big books and I cannot lie. :C Eventually, I hope there could be a big lump of a tome collecting many comic happenings in one volume, hee <33
I also like Archia's personal touch suggestion! 8D
